How we support you

The usual method of fixing a computer that goes wrong is to have an engineer come round. And in some cases this is still necessary, for example if you can't get online or start your computer at all. However, we offer two alternatives to save you the hassle of taking time out of your day to wait for us to visit. We can fix most problems REMOTELY, i.e. by connecting to your computer and fixing it - fast! Usually, we'll only visit your home to fix a PC that can't connect to the internet or even switch on.(click for more)

We've found connecting to your PC or "remoting" is the fastest and less invasive way to help you -- it's exactly the same as being next to you and moving the mouse. You see everything that happens, it's safe because you can see what we're doing, and we don't leave anything all topsy turvy. In fact, like ninjas, you'll never know we helped except for fixing the problem!

So how does it work? Well we use an independant platform called LogMeIn. LogMeIn is the flagship product of LogMeIn, Inc and allows us to work on your PC from our offices, at minimum fuss and no risk to you. In fact you can disconnect us at any time, for your peace of mind.

Let's run through an everyday support call.

Firstly, you'd probably phone us and describe your problem. If we need to access your computer remotely, we'll tell you. With your permission, we'll email you a link. If you click that link, and confirm you want us to help, then you just sit back and relax. You'll see us moving the mouse on your screen, typing, etc. In fact, you can even hang up the phone and continue talking to us using a built-in chat feature. Easy!

Let's recap.

  • You call us with a description of the problem
  • We offer you a quote and an outline of our diagnosis
  • We'll either talk you through the steps over the phone, through email, or ask to connect to your computer.
  • If we need to connect to your computer, you can sit back and watch us work!
  • Once the problem is resolved, we'll make sure you're happy with us, and thank you for letting us help out.
